Wavves – Green Eyes
Based out of San Diego, California, this lo-fi punk band was a perfect fit in the WRAP Gallery environment for the bulk of our summer. With the surfer anthem ‘King Of The Beach’ and the undeniable hypnotizing melody of ‘Mickey Mouse’, Wavves are definitley a newish act that’s worth keeping your eye on. Fronted by singer Nathan Williams, many well respected outlets like Spin and Pitchfork have picked up the group for their unique sound.
