Lupe Fiasco just came through and added a few new pieces on to his collection. The latest run of Trilly & Truly reflects a desire to be as simple as possible, to express the basic ideas, to extract any unneeded complexity — an overall retreat to the basic. With 3 polos, 3 pants, and 3 tees, the collection is “basic” as labeled, but with elements that make each item stand apart on its own. The t-shirts feature images of Martin Luther King Jr., Noam Chomsky, and a defaced Adolf Hitler to illustrate messages of Peace, Anarchy, and History – three ideals strongly valued by Lupe.
