New York staple Supreme is gearing up to release their first original sneaker with Nike. The two giants have collaborated in the past, but this time Supreme actually helped design a brand new silhouette. (Drops this Thursday, November 11th at Supreme stores in US, followed by Supreme store in Japan on Saturday, November 13th. )
“The key concept of this sneaker is its aesthetics which takes influence from vintage basketball sneakers, referencing the time when basketball shoes were used for skateboarding, prior to production of skateboarding specific shoes. Heel section features foamposite that is great for shock absorption and the suede leather uppers were chosen as it is durable against abuse from the grip tape. Extra grip comes from the specifically developed rubber compounds on the out sole and the Zoom Air technology helps to cushion impact each and every time.” - Freshness
