Invader is definitely one of the most unique “graffiti” artists around. Taking design inspiration from infamous 8-bit video games such as Space Invaders, he creates different characters with coloured square tiles across different cities that are documented and given maps on where to find each piece. Starting in his home city of Paris over ten years ago, Invader has now placed his pieces in some thirty plus different cities across the world, from New York to Tokyo. He even “tagged” the Hollywood Sign in 1999.
